Association of Anatomical Pathology Technology

Guidance Documents

Guidance Documents

The aims & objectives of the AAPT clearly state a commitment to “helping ensure and improve the professional, educational and practical standards for technologists”.

A series of national guidance documents are to be produced in addition to those that have already been published for Mass Fatality Incident Deployment, Post Mortem Examinations on Friends & Relatives and Property & Valuables.

The AAPT would very much like to develop national guidance and if any members would like to share examples of good practice within their hospital or public mortuary these would be welcomed.
