AAPT Conference 2017: abstracts required!

Calling all APTs!

AAPT Conference 2017 is in Cardiff on Saturday 30th September.

Who fancies doing something a little different and sharing some knowledge with other professionals?

How about practising your public speaking and earning 5 extra CPD points at the same time?

After reviewing previous feedback, if you are considering coming along to conference next year, we are introducing something a little different.

We are inviting abstracts, (a short summary, max 200 words), for any of you who fancy having an eight-ten minute slot to present at conference next year. (Ten minutes will be maximum!)

Your subject can be absolutely anything APT related. Even if you have an idea but haven't got it quite sorted for presentation yet, there's plenty of time to get it polished and prepared.

We will need abstracts by the 25th November 2016. We will look through all of the ideas and then present to Council where three of you lovely people will be chosen to present. We will be anonomising the abstracts when we display them at council, it will be like shortlisting, only the conference team will know who you are.

How you present is up to you, it doesn't have to be power point, simply you and a microphone if that's what you'd prefer. Don't be shy, and don't let people dissuade you! There are no restrictions on who can send in an abstract so why not give it a go?

Your reward will be 5 extra CPD activity points and a £10 voucher.

If the people we choose then do not book for conference we will choose an alternative so please don't feel this commits you to attending, equally if you're unsure you'll be able to but want to be considered just in case, submit! Please send your abstracts by email using this form.

We very much look forward to hearing from you!
