Good news for AAPT members
I am delighted to advise all members that after some initial communication difficulties in the submission of our requests, HMRC has now agreed to allow tax relief on AAPT membership fees for all our members liable for UK income tax.
This allowance has been granted with effect from 6th April 2014 so you can claim for the first time against the tax year just past.
The list of approved professional bodies will be updated in due course but should you have any problem claiming in the meantime just explain that the association has just recently been approved and quote the HMRC Head Office Reference T1644/10/2015/LS
This is yet another sign of the recognition of the AAPT as the representative professional body for Anatomical Pathology Technologists
